One in seven women in Queensland will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85 so with regular breast screening being the most effective way to reduce deaths from breast cancer isn’t it worth taking just 30 minutes of your time every two years to get checked?
BreastScreen Queensland provides FREE, high-quality breast screening for women with the recommended age for testing being between the ages of 50 – 74 years of age although women from 40 years of age are also eligible to use the service.
BreastScreen Queensland is for women with no signs or symptoms of breast cancer so get to know your breasts and if you notice any changes please book in to see your GP as soon as possible.
BreastScreen Queensland has clinics located throughout the country and also has a mobile unit.
To make an appointment with BreastScreen Queensland you can call 13 20 50 or book online at breastscreen.qld.gov.au
