There was a little trepidation around heading to the Logan City Council Animal Management Centre due to how I would feel on departing and having to leave animals behind who need loving homes but after meeting Sophie and Kate who work at the centre and a couple of families who have adopted dogs from the centre, I definitely left feeling much better than I expected to. Plus, there was only one dog and nine cats looking for homes.
If you are thinking of bringing a pet into your home to love then PLEASE consider checking out places like the Animal Management Centre first to give an animal a second chance!
