Leaders at the Kuraby Mosque say they’re concerned about a threatening call made on Monday.

Counter-terrorism police charged a 29-year old man from Sunnybank Hills on Tuesday morning with one count of using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.

Ali Kadri from the Islamic College of Brisbane says the man made a call allegedly outlining various threats.

He says the call occurred at a place of worship which had been the target of an arson attack in the wake of 9/11.
