Lighthouse Care has opened the doors of its brand new discounted grocery shop, The good food shop.
Starting by giving out loaves of bread to families 20 years ago, Ron and Debbie Hill would never have dreamed of what they have come to create with their five sons and many volunteers in what is Lighthouse Care today. An organisation that has helped hundreds of thousands of Queenslanders by providing groceries for free to those who need them, offering trolleys of groceries for only $25, and now the opening of the brand new discounted grocery store.
Lighthouse Care offers more than just food security. They offer hope and have a range of programs helping families in the community and are always looking for Corporate Sponsors, volunteers, and people who need their help.
It was a great pleasure to witness the beautiful Debbie Hill cut the ribbon of the new shop with the help of Jim Chalmers MP and welcome everyone in.
Many people attended the opening joining in the celebrations including dignitaries Leeanne Enoch MP, Mayor Jon Raven, Councillor Mindy Russell, and Miriam Stemp Division 10 Councillor.
Lighthouse Care encourages everyone to grab a bargain by shopping with them first because whether you need the savings or not, by shopping at Lighthouse Care you are supporting them in their mission to support everyone who needs their help.
Another fun way to help is purchasing tickets to the upcoming fundraising event Viva Las Vegas.
Rebel 90.5 FM is a proud media sponsor of Lighthouse Care.
