Two years of planning and two big weeks of events have just wrapped up in Stanthorpe with the biennial Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival running 23rd of February to the 3rd of March.
Stanthorpe’s local radio stations, Rebel 97.1 FM and the Breeze 90.1 pulled out the stops to help make market day on Saturday unforgettable, and Breeze bringing the tunes to Werona Park on Sunday helped set the mood for a day of entertainment, market stalls, food and wine tasting.
Southern Downs Mayor Vic Pennisi pulled out all the stops to take out the crown in the Grape Crush for 2024. He was up against some big competitors with The Hon. David Littleproud, leader of the Federal National Party, Member for Southern Downs James Lister, MP, The Breeze’s Dave Stretton and Scott Hopkins putting up fierce competition until the very end.
Rebel 97.1 FM and The Breeze 90.1 are proud to be media supporters of this fantastic festival that brings people from across Australia and the world to experience the best of the Granite Belt.
